William Hocter, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist in general, forensic, and geriatric psychiatry serving patients who reside in Virginia. A retired U.S. Navy physician with over 30 years of service, Dr. Hocter provides outpatient telehealth psychiatric care for individuals age 16 and older, with particular expertise in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, and geriatric psychiatry. This practice will commence operation on approximately March 1, 2026
